“But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.”

2 Corinthians 6:4-10

The Father has taught me that Christ’s work on the cross has provided complete accessibility to God in all situations to anyone who would ask for His help. No matter the circumstances that life presents we can enjoy victory through an intimate loving relationship with Jesus. We do not have to wait to experience the refreshment from His living water. He is here for us now.
In 1991 I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. In 1993 I earned the degree of Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University. I have been honored to walk with hundreds of people through times of suffering, trials and tribulations in my sixteen years of counseling in New Mexico. The clientele that I have served ranges from adolescent to adult. Whether you are struggling with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, isolation, or addiction there is always hope. As a Trainer and Supervisor in Motivational Interviewing I have learned the clinical significance of respecting each individual’s journey towards wellness and recovery. Collaboration, evocation and affirmation are corner stone’s to the process of change and change is always possible.
As a Ministry Leader at Calvary of Albuquerque I have had the privilege of seeing how the great Truths of the Bible will convict, encourage, and strengthen us in our daily living. In developing, implementing and facilitating the “In Good Company” ministry I have had the opportunity of knowing courageous and graceful women living in spiritually mismatched marriages. This particularly challenging situation can create a tremendous void within a marriage in addition to conflict on how to raise children. The apostle Paul writes in his first letter to the Corinthians that the “natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him; and he is incapable of knowing them.” I have seen time and time again that there are no perfect marriages and that an unequal yoke does not equate to impossibilities. Everything is possible through Christ.
As a Christian Counselor I joyfully commit my gifts, experience, training and education that God has given me to the service of the body of Christ and to the lost.
