Kay D. Chase, M.A., LMHC
"Now may the God of hope will you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit"
John 8: 31-32
All people experience emotional hurt and pain, however the sources and intensity are different for each of us. For some the source is family or spouse. Others have experienced hurt from the church or from co-workers. Sometimes hurt comes from people who are well intentioned but not always helpful. I advocate treatment of the whole person-physiological, emotional and spiritual- in a context of safety and acceptance, toward a goal of emotional wellness.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education conferred from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. After spending many years as a military spouse, I continued my education, obtaining a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Licensed by the state of New Mexico, I also am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
I accept clients ages 14 - 65 and specialize in treatment of depression, mood swing behaviors, grief, anger management, and marital issues.
