Most of us have experienced emotional hurt and pain at some point in our lives. However, the sources and intensity are different for each of us. We may lose hope. Sometimes we can resolve these feelings ourselves or with friends. Sometimes we can benefit from the care of a helping professional.
Seeing and relating to the individual in the context of the physical, emotional, and spiritual can be helpful. In the context of safety and acceptance toward a goal of emotional wellness, there can be healing.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, Minnesota. After spending a period as a military spouse, I continued my education, obtaining a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Licensed by the State of New Mexico, I hold membership in the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Accepting clients ages 18-65, the focus of my practice is treatment of depression, anxiety, mood swing behaviors, grief, anger management, and marital issues. I am certified to counsel using Prepare/Enrich, a program for premarital counseling and marital enrichment. |
