"In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8: 37-39

God gave me an intense interest in people. I have found myself involved in lives while serving in state and federal government, counseling with our military and in various charitable organizations, and in teaching children, adolescents and women. God had given me a love and desire to participate in the suffering of those who need help and whose hearts may be breaking. These experiences have brought me to my ministry at Christian Counseling Professionals.

My personal philosophy incorporates the previous scripture about God's unusual love for us. He has created every person with a body, soul, and spirit… with equal value… deserving respect and to be treated with dignity and care. There is eternal hope for each of us and always the possibility of making new decisions and different choices. God never gives up on us… and neither should I! As a Christian Counselor, it is my responsibility to "learn not unto my own understanding" but to follow God's guidance, upholding Hid values and principles. I look upon my profession as an opportunity to be a channel for the "Wonderful Counselor" who delivers hope and healing to those He brings into my sessions. I welcome the opportunity to come alongside those struggling with depression, anxiety, marital difficulties and heartaches, grief issues and relationships that have gone wrong. It is in brokenness that God brings us to victory.

I received my Undergraduate Degree from Southern Illinois University and my Master's in counseling from Webster University in Albuquerque. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and am active in my church. I enjoy a busy life with my husband, dog, family, and friends. Our children and families live in the area.
